$420 full face. $520 face + neck. No surprises.

JRYN charges $420 USD-equivalent for full-face Ultherapy Prime (300 lines), $520 for full face + neck (450 lines), $340 for lower-face-only (200 lines), and $220 for eye-area-only (75 lines). All prices are all-inclusive: device cost, line count, numbing cream, oral pre-medication, post-care kit, and 30/60/90-day WhatsApp follow-up. Combination with RF (Oligio/Volnewmer) adds $280 for combined-session pricing — saves ~$120 vs separate sessions. Note: Korea ended the foreign-patient VAT refund January 1, 2026 — these prices do not include any refund. What we quote is what you pay.

Honest comparison.

🇰🇷

Busan (JRYN)

$420 full face / $520 face + neck. Authentic Ultherapy Prime, all-inclusive. Korean clinical adoption + Busan cost structure = best value for foreign patients.

🇰🇷

Seoul Gangnam

$580–$680 full face. Same authentic device, higher rent and brand premium. Still 50–60% below US but loses to Busan on pure value.

🇯🇵

Tokyo Ginza/Omotesando

$750–$1,200 full face. Premium Japanese aesthetic clinics. Different patient experience but similar device. 30–40% above Busan equivalent.

🇺🇸

Los Angeles / New York

$1,500–$2,500 full face. Premium US dermatology. FDA approval, US healthcare overhead, full marketing premium. 4–6× Busan pricing.

🇸🇬

Singapore Orchard Road

$1,200–$1,600 full face. Mid-premium Asian aesthetic clinics. 3–4× Busan. Many Singaporeans fly to Korea specifically for the gap.

🇹🇼

Taipei Daan / Eastern District

$680–$900 full face. Comparable Asian premium dermatology. ~2× Busan. Many Taiwanese also fly to Busan for the savings.

What's NOT included

Honest exclusions.

Travel costs

Flights, accommodation, meals, ground transport. JRYN doesn't bundle these — book directly. We provide hotel recommendations free; no commissions.

Combination treatments (priced separately)

If you add RF (Oligio/Volnewmer/Thermage) or skin booster (Rejuran/Juvelook) in the same trip, those are priced separately. Combination same-session discounts of 15% apply.

Touch-up sessions

Annual maintenance Ultherapy is priced fresh — no discount for being a repeat patient (other than potential combination pricing). Some clinics offer 'membership' tiers; JRYN keeps pricing flat for transparency.

Translator services beyond clinic visit

JRYN's English/Japanese/Chinese language support during your appointment is free. If you need a translator for outside-clinic activities (banking, immigration), that's a separate service via local providers.

Pricing perspective

When the math works.

Trip math works if you

  • Live in US, Tokyo, Singapore (saves $800–$2,000+ vs local clinic)
  • Are doing 2+ treatments in one trip (compounds savings)
  • Have flexibility in dates (cheaper flights)
  • Combine treatment with planned Korea/Asia tourism
  • Are returning patient on annual maintenance (predictable repeat trips)

Reconsider if you

  • Live within 4 hours of Busan (Japanese, Taiwanese savings shrink with cheaper local options)
  • Total trip cost (flights + hotel + treatment) doesn't beat your local clinic
  • Single small treatment only (less amortization on travel cost)
  • Have urgent treatment timeline (travel coordination adds friction)
  • Aren't sure Ultherapy is the right device (consult first)

Skip if you

  • Have severe loose skin requiring surgical lift (Ultherapy can't substitute)
  • Have unrealistic 'looking 20 years younger' expectations
  • Have keloid-prone skin without dermatology consultation
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have certain implanted medical devices (consult Dr. Lee)

VAT refund (gone in 2026)

Frequently asked

FAQ · Ultherapy pricing
questions.

Why is JRYN's Ultherapy cheaper than Seoul Gangnam?
Three reasons: (1) Busan commercial rent is 30–50% below Gangnam. (2) Wage costs slightly lower in Busan than Seoul. (3) Less brand premium — Busan dermatology is less driven by chasing high-net-worth domestic Seoul patients. Same authentic Ultherapy Prime device, same KFDA approval, same operator skill. Just lower-cost geography.
Is the lower price because they use less lines?
No — JRYN delivers exactly the line count we quote. Full face = 300 lines, verified on the device counter. Some clinics advertise low prices but deliver 150 lines and call it 'enough.' We show you the counter pre-, mid-, post-treatment. Verifiable delivery.
What about VAT refund?
Korea ended the foreign-patient VAT refund on aesthetic dermatology starting January 1, 2026. Quoted prices do not include any refund. The refund was about 9% of treatment cost; that's gone now. JRYN's listed prices were never inflated to bake in 'expected refund' — what we quote is what you pay.
Can I pay in USD or my home currency?
We accept payment in KRW (cash or card), and credit cards in any currency (your card issuer converts). Direct USD/JPY/TWD cash payment is not accepted by Korean clinic policies. Most foreign patients pay by credit card or convert to KRW at Gimhae airport or Hana/Woori Bank.
Is there a deposit for booking from abroad?
First-time consultation: no deposit. Confirmed treatment with specific date: 30% deposit via bank transfer or credit card (refundable up to 7 days before appointment). Reschedule within 7 days: no penalty. Day-of cancellation: deposit forfeited. We email payment instructions in English.
Does the price change for repeat patients?
No — JRYN keeps Ultherapy pricing flat across visits. Some clinics offer 'membership' tiers or 'returning patient' discounts but raise base prices to compensate. We prefer transparent flat pricing. Combination same-session discounts (15% off second device) apply for everyone.
How does combination pricing work?
Same-session combination saves 15% off the second device. Example: Ultherapy Prime alone $420 + Volnewmer alone $650 = $1,070. Combined same session: $910 (15% off Volnewmer). Saves time (one trip), reduces total downtime, and compounds clinical effect.
Can I get insurance reimbursement?
Most insurance won't cover aesthetic Ultherapy. HSA/FSA dollars typically can't be applied to cosmetic procedures. If you have a medical indication (severe sun damage with documented diagnosis), some insurers may consider — uncommon but possible. JRYN provides English itemized receipts with codes if requested.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The price quoted is all-inclusive: device, line count, numbing, oral pre-medication, post-care kit, and 30/60/90-day WhatsApp follow-up. The only additional costs would be combination treatments (priced separately and discounted) or unrelated services. We don't charge consultation fees, language fees, or 'foreign patient surcharges.'
How do I get a final quote for my specific case?
WhatsApp +82-10-3951-7576 with photos showing your concerns. Within 24 hours we confirm: (1) recommended Ultherapy area (full face / face + neck / lower face / eye area), (2) any recommended combinations, (3) total USD/JPY/TWD-equivalent pricing, (4) appointment options. No commitment required.
