Are foreign patient prices really the same as Korean prices?
Yes — verifiable. We show you our Korean-language price list on request. Currency-converted at booking-day exchange rate, the foreign-patient quote matches Korean-patient pricing. Some Korean clinics charge 1.3–1.5× to foreigners; we don't. The 'medical tourism premium' is unethical and we refuse to participate.
Why do other clinics charge foreigners more?
Three reasons clinics cite: (1) language support cost — but JRYN absorbs this as foundational service. (2) 'Premium experience' — but the actual treatment is identical. (3) 'Tourist won't compare' — they assume you can't shop around. JRYN's view: charging more to foreigners damages long-term repeat business and referrals, even if it produces short-term margin. We'd rather have you back than overcharge once.
What if the price changes between my quote and my visit?
JRYN quotes are valid 30 days. If you book within 30 days of the quote, your price is locked at the quoted amount. Past 30 days, we re-quote — but in practice the price is almost always unchanged. Pricing changes only happen on major device cost changes, which we communicate transparently in advance.
Are there really zero mid-procedure upsells?
Yes — JRYN's policy is no mid-procedure upsells. Once you've consented to the treatment plan and signed the consent form, that's the plan. Adjustments require explicit re-consent and re-quote before continuing. The captive-audience moment of 'you're already here in the chair' isn't used to expand the bill. If a doctor genuinely sees something needing addition, we discuss for next visit, not now.
How does combination discount work?
15% off second device when combined same-session. Example: Ultherapy Prime $420 + Volnewmer $650 = $1,070. Combined: $1,070 - 15% × $650 = $972.50. Saves $97.50 vs separate sessions. 15% applies to second and third device equally. Available to all patients regardless of nationality, treatment area, or visit history.
Can I see the bilingual itemized receipt before paying?
Yes — always. Request it before completing payment. We provide it as standard practice but if there's any miscommunication, we issue it before checkout. If a Korean clinic refuses to issue an itemized bilingual receipt before payment, that's a red flag — leave or escalate.
What if I want to compare JRYN with other clinics?
We encourage it. JRYN's pricing transparency is meaningful only if you can compare. Get itemized quotes from 2–3 clinics, compare device, line count, inclusions, and total. Most foreign patients comparing us with Seoul Gangnam find we're 20–30% lower for equivalent services. Comparison validates trust.
Are insurance receipts available?
Yes — itemized English receipts with diagnosis codes (where applicable) provided on request. For most aesthetic procedures, insurance won't reimburse regardless. For documented medical conditions (severe acne, scarring revision, etc.), some insurers may consider — uncommon but possible. JRYN doesn't bill insurance directly; we provide documentation for self-submission.
Why publish foreign-currency prices in advance?
Three reasons: (1) Lets foreign patients budget correctly before traveling. (2) Lets you compare to local clinics in your home country. (3) Demonstrates we trust our pricing — clinics that hide prices typically have something to hide. Publishing pricing publicly is a commitment device — we can't quietly raise foreign prices when our website displays them.
How do I confirm I got transparent pricing?
Three checks: (1) Itemized written quote received before booking. (2) Quote matches actual receipt at end of treatment. (3) USD/JPY/TWD equivalents shown alongside KRW. If all three pass, pricing was transparent. WhatsApp +82-10-5573-7574 to receive a sample quote and verify the format.
